Palermo

Illustration of Palermo for City as a Person Project.

The illustration is a visual interpretation of an interview with a resident of Palermo, Italy, in which he describes the city as if it were a person. "She is fascinating, has a lot of charm, she leaves you with different questions… maybe you would like to discover what this person is like... maybe she used to be interesting, today you wouldn’t go too close to her, she is too mysterious, complicated..." "It's dark... All windows and doors are closed. But there is one crack which illuminates it. Because outside there is so, so much light, too much. It would be enough to open windows and doors, but because her negligence, carelessness... She doesn't want to be seen. There is just a small window open..." City as a Person Project
